Bill of Rights: Free speech.

Congress shall make no law…abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.    (1st Amendment, U.S. Constitution)

Like open societies all over the world, Americans are free to speak and march for and against almost any issue you can name.  Unless there is physical harm being done to persons or property, or someone is threatening to use a deadly weapon, American police will stand and watch but must not interefere.
