Peggy is a massage therapist at a food market in Arlington, Texas. She is thoughtful and soft-spoken. Years ago she worked as a newspaper photographer. Later, she became a therapist after receiving a couple of massages herself, and discovering that the treatments alleviated what ailed her. A friend and I sat and listened to her stories during lunch this afternoon. My companion and I were not seeking any treatments at all, and we regarded the time together as simply conversation, but Peggy described it as “energy therapy.” Very well then… whatever you call it, it was pleasant.
