You might not have given it much thought, but the 100th anniversary of Worl War I (1914-1918) is fast approaching. Hard to believe that a conflict so modern will soon be remembered as something “olden”, from a bygone century. Even harder to believe is that children born today will someday consider the 1900s as remote as the 1800s were to my generation. Life goes on, as we are reminded each year at this time, when Easter is upon us.
I took these two photos this evening at the Irving, Texas, Veterans Memorial Park.
