Romanian poet Marin Sorescu wrote a poem that begins with the line “Water: no matter how much, there is still not enough.” Folks along the Mississippi River would likely disagree with that line, but here in Texas we’d be happy to have more water. Despite occasional rain storms like we had last night and might have again tonight Texas is still dangerously dry. Electronic highway signs are warning “Extreme Wildfire Danger”.
