I am returned from an invigorating walk into the wilderness. I walked 3 1/2 miles on the Crosstimbers Trail at Fort Worth Nature Center. For a year or so, the path was closed, and has only recently reopened. This was my first time on the trail. I ambulated along a path which passes by the banks of a mysterious creek, I passed by quags and through ancient woods, and wondered if I might meet gnomes and trolls. The trail is easy, with only a few modest elevations, and runs about 3 1/3 miles. .
