Tunnel Vision.

Mid-day today, I took a tour of the east-side tunnels under the city of Dallas. Like many cities, Dallas has a system of tunnels housing shops, services, restaurants, and sundry such things. I asked, “How many miles of tunnels exist?” I was told that the number had recently changed (not sure why) and the guide didn’t know the exact number of miles. Actually, the tour seemed to be as much (or more) above ground as below, but all the same, it was an interesting excursion. Along the way I met Natasha from Ukraine and Audra from Lithuania. Later I met Karynah and Jaime. I also met Melvin, a homeless fellow– (Full disclosure: I gave Melvin a few dollars to pose for my lens.)
