Friday night I went to the wrap party for Dallas StartUp Week. Dallas StartUp Week is a series of events allowing local entrepreneurs to connect with each other and the larger community. This year’s StartUp Week included: UX Workshop Virtual Crash Course in Design Thinking, Key Success Factors in Commercializing Your Tech Solutions, Dallas Food Deserts & The Urban Farming Movement, Creative Spaces Bus Tour, and a Tunnel Tour. These information sessions are designed to benefit those who are growing a new business or expanding an existing one in new directions. By meeting and mentoring, entrepreneurs and established businesses learn from each other and discover new opportunities. The week concluded with a wrap party on the 70th floor of the Bank of America Plaza on Main Street in Dallas. Below are scenes from the party. I tried to get everyone’s name, but missed a few, so I ask your indulgence is allowing me to post pics labeled “…and associate.” I will add names and make corrections as needed.
