It’s all the rage, these neighborhood wine walks. This evening, I strolled through the Bishop Arts District in Dallas, where I met a few folks and took a few fotos.
Pete Dominguez once owned a couple of Tex-Mex restaurants in Dallas. His mother’s people were Zapatistas, including maternal grandfather, cousin to Emiliano Zapata. Pete tells me, “In 1915, Emiliano told my grandfather you better leave Mexico and go to Texas because there is going to be trouble.” So they left. And in Mexico there was trouble.
Reggie (center) and friends. Reggie is a photographer. She snapped a few of me, and will email them to me. 🙂
I’m a sucker for street performers. This is Sarah Munger, enchanting me with Hallelujah and House of the Rising Sun.
