Canyon conveyance.

Maria is ‘We’ll See!’ envoy to the Mideast. Recently, she and her family were on assignment in Israel and Jordan to document people. Maria took this photo of a local conveyance in the canyons of Petra, and she adds this note:

‘This was taken as we worked our way through the canyons of Petra. I saw this hired horse approaching from a distance so I readied my camera and took the shot once he got into frame.’

What do Jonah, Solomon, St. Peter all have in common?

Jaffa. An ancient port city in Israel. This was Jonah’s hometown.  King Solomon conquered this town, and used the port to bring in materials for building a temple. St. Peter raised the widow Dorcas to life in this town.  And more recently, Maria, Sergio and their daughter, journeyed to this ancient port. They saw people and places, the lineages of which go back to the days of Peter, Solomon, Jonah. Symbols of that ancient past are available as sourvenirs at this stand in Old Jaffa. Maria took this photo and gave permission to publish it on ‘We’ll See!’
